(Except for two, whom hide way back down the halls ... The Greirat quest is such a buggy piece of garbage. This is the second playthrough that has randomly had him die on me when he should've lived. Here's what I did: Rescued Siegward from the well after beating the Cathedral. Sent Greirat off to Irithyll. Beat the Old Demon King.Leave Firelink and return to make sure Greirat has left. 10. Immediately go to Smouldering lake and kill the Old Demon King. Once the boss is dead, return to Firelink. Greirat should be back safe and sound from his Irithyll pillage, and will mention being saved by a “peculiar onion Knight”..
